Meet Miss Gannon

Hello there! As we begin an amazing year together I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Kate Gannon. This is my sixth year teaching Kindergarten and my third year at Chicago Public Elementary. Prior to teaching here I taught over seas in Zambia, Africa for three years. That was an amazing opportunity! I have a genuine passion to teach and help children grow in knowledge. One of the missions for my classroom is not only to see the children improve greatly in their learning of academics, but also learning the important values of everyday life. Respect is my number one expectation in the classroom. This year is going to be a full year packed with challenges and fun while learning together.
